Alumni Hall, Room 400, St. Michael's College (AH on the maps)

While the Drama Centre is located west of Queen's Park, Alumni Hall is located east of the park, at 121 St. Joseph Street, at St. Michael's College. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from the Drama Centre to St. Joseph Street, and the easiest method is to follow College Street east, turn left on Queen's Park Crescent East. Continue on Queen's Park Cr. E., keeping the large legislature building on your left. You will see St. Joseph Street on your right, and as you continue along it for a few seconds, Alumni Hall will be on your right.

Massey College is located at 4 Devonshire Place, a 10 minute walk from the Drama Centre. From the St. George exit, walk north (left) up St. George Street (away from College St.). At Hoskin Ave/Harbord St., turn right, and Devonshire Place is the first street on your left. Once at Massey, follow signs for the reception.

Directions to the University of Toronto

Driving

The Graduate Centre for Study of Drama is located at the intersection of College St. and St. George St., in the heart of downtown Toronto. If driving on the QEW, continue onto the Gardiner Expressway, and exit at Spadina Ave. Drive north on Spadina, and turn right on College St. The Drama Centre is in the same building as the U of T bookstore, which you will see on your left as you approach St. George St. If driving along the 401, take the Allen Expressway south and exit at Eglington Ave. From here, it's best to follow a map, but Bathurst is a good route south.

From Pearson International airport, take the 401 East and follow the directions above.

Airport

The airport has several options. You can follow the driving directions above, and with minor traffic, it will take about 40 minutes.

You can also take the TTC - a Toronto city bus - which goes to Kipling subway station. The bus is called the 192 Airport Rocket, at it departs the airport every 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver for a transfer slip. From Kipling Station, take the subway east (the only direction you can go) into Toronto, and exit at St. George. Walk south on St. George. This option will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on traffic, and it costs $3.00, exact change required.

Taxis from the airport to downtown cost around $50.

For both taxis and the city bus, follow airport directions signs to the appropriate location on the arrivals level.

Hotels

Toronto has a dizzying variety of accommodations on offer, ranging from budget, to boutique, to super luxurious. Below is an eclectic sampling of options, and you can also consult the University of Toronto's Temporary Accomodations list, which includes hostels and budget options. You may also want to look at Trip Advisor's reviews of hotels near the Annex neighbourhood. In general, I recommend checking out the prices on hotels.com or expedia.ca first, instead of booking directly with the hotel.
